Firm up your friendship

Totally Us on an unrelated sunny day!
Now anyone that knows me for more than a couple hours, knows that i am not a sympathetic, soppy, lovey dovey, cry at anything kind of a woman (actually i don't know many women that are, but there are perceptions...).

One of my very first close friends when i was very young was the same, and we developed our own little way of dealing with our fall outs or disagreements that we would refer to as 'no emotions'. This had its benefits but we were young and it was basically a way of us avoiding fighting with each other about things we were both hyper sensitive about.

Age has so far been kind to me and i am blessed with some amazing friends, but recently one of my friends and I wrote a list of 10 of our favourite things about each other and then sent them or read them out.

I valued her as a friend before but after that will never look at her or be offended by anything she could say to me ever again. We recognised the good in each other, the value in each other and our relationship and it's something i would recommend to anyone.

happy loving!

A Little of Love

Every girl loves it when they find a place they like with people they like that they can get their beautification on. I have 2 faves near where i am currently living.

One in Walthamstow, and the other in Dalston.

I go between the 2 depending on where else i need to be and what i need to be doing but i love a little relaxation and if you do too and you happen to be in East London you should give them a try.

In Walthamstow: Little of Love

In Dalston: Ria Beauty (only place i thread my eyebrows outside of selfridges)

It's spring time!!... more or less....well for today anyway

Looking at this blog again reminded me of my sweetheart pink jumper I am wearing in the pic of me on the front page. Which in turn reminded me of the absolute horror I experienced when I went digging through my winter pieces last autumn and discovered it had been eaten by moths!!!! (I hate moths, all moths are evil)

Anyway, as you can tell I am SO over it now and am looking forward to doing the spring clean of the 'ol wardrobe. It's time to clear out the old and make space for the new! Or in my case just make space for what is already in there....

What I am defo looking forward to though is getting back on the Sunday Market selling wagon again! It is a great little way to make some extra moolah and actually quite an enjoyable Sunday activity, especially when the weather is good!

So watch this space for some selling adventures coming this way oh so very soon.

Be Spring Savvy!!

Musical Moments

Late Night Working Woes

A celebration worth a mention!

Something had to give and make me blow the dust off this keyboard and oh what joy can do! Relishing this for the rest of the summer!

Marni for H&M

Ok so H&M of late have had some pretty big collaborations but to be honest none of them have quite lived up to the standard set by Lanvin (see my faves from that here).. but this year on March 8th Marni for H&M launches. I don't know how i will manage the next 6 weeks but i am beyond excited by the newly released advertising shots. First newscame out in Vogue Russia apparently and the full advertising shoots will be launching on feb 8th...watch this space!

The original collaboration video just to top it off...
